I am proud to be Headteacher of this thriving grammar school, serving Bournemouth and the surrounding area. With over 1100 girls, including 300 students in the sixth form, BSG is a dynamic and exciting community to work and learn in.

We are committed to providing the very best possible education for our pupils, whether in the classroom, on the sports field, in drama and music or in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

We are certainly a highly successful school - our 2009 A level results make us again one of the top performing state schools in the south west. But there is far more to BSG than examination results. I hope that you will get something of the flavour of our school as you view our website.
